New outright circuit record Lap 8 50.59 seconds  130.93 mph   

2nd place went to number 24. Matthew Mortlock( 3.5 litre F3000 Reynard )     

Simon Barker.

3rd , the engine went sick on the final lap and almost lost him the position to Panchryz and  Gray.

4th after a scrap with Barker who is seen here chasing him along Farm Straight

5th right on the tail of Barker and Panchryz on the last lap

Blew the engine in practice after qualifying 2nd
